Nippi Linker, The pioneering technology of chemical cross-linking
In the 1970s Nippi developed the new technology Nippi Linker, the first commercialized chemical cross-linked PVC in Japan. With wide applications for heat/ flame resistant products, Nippi Linker have been contributing to various manufacturers for five decades.
What is cross-linking?
In chemistry, cross-linking is a bond or a short sequence of bonds that links one polymer chain to another. These links may take the form of covalent bonds.

Characteristics of Nippi Linker
With pre-mixed PVC, which is combined with cross-linking agent, Nippi Linker provides high performance of physical properties, including heat/ flame resistance. With simple cross-linking process, just using a furnace, the Nippi Linker products can be attained at low cost and small batch productions. Nippi Linker products are all heavy metal-free.
1.High heat/ flame resistance
Nippi Linker provides excellent heat/ flame resistance. It also gives a Low rate of dimensional change and compression set at high temperatures.
High temperature resistance test: 170℃×60min
No deformations or adhesive residue
2.Improved thermal shrinkages
Compared to normal PVC, Nippi Linker provides a remarkable thermal shrinkage and a high maintenance factor at high temperatures.

3.High flame retardance
Nippi Linker is effective for preventing the draw down at high temperatures. Therefore manufacturers are able to meet regulations for flame retardance.
4.Improved resistance to solvents and chemicals
Nippi Linker provides excellent gel fraction in solvents, and improved resistance to solvents and chemicals.
